The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Nascimento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saúl Novais read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Ailton Dos Santos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Great Yarmouth's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ebley FC the free kick. Ailton Dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Simão Nascimento succeeded in the game's 21st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. If Simão Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Eduardo Caneças shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saúl Novais saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Saúl Novais stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduardo Caneças's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Great Yarmouth's goalkeeper Alão Caneças, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Simão Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ebley FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Evaristo Russo hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the match, Ebley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Simão Nascimento came free, but Saúl Novais reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After 52 minutes, Gregório Jacinto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ebley FC and the Great Yarmouth players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ebley FC's Gregório Jacinto got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Simão Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saúl Novais having to interfere. Simão Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduardo Caneças struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Saúl Novais didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Great Yarmouth. Eduardo Caneças sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, Ebley FC's Hipólito Fonseca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alão Caneças narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Simão Nascimento succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 87th playminute. The crowd rose to their feet as Great Yarmouth's Henrique Clérigo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Saúl Novais. That made the score 0-3 after 92 minutes of play. If Simão Nascimento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Great Yarmouth's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
