Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Balduíno Fontão in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simão Varanda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute, Balduíno Fontão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Simão Varanda was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 11th minute, Edmundo Da Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simão Varanda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Maurtio in the 14th minute of the match. Simão Varanda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Balduíno Fontão's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Paulo Maurtio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Simão Varanda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Maurtio in the 18th minute of play forced Nantwich United's goalkeeper Simão Varanda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balduíno Fontão scored 0-2 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Simão Varanda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulo Vasques's late challenge caught a Nantwich United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Vasques helped the player get up and apologised. Paulo Vasques kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute of the match Magno Boal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hector Lourenço skillfully saved the ball. Paulo Vasques hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cativa FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Edmundo Chivukuvuku hit a great ball. Simão Varanda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cativa FC. Nantwich United's Simão Varanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balduíno Fontão in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fábio Barreiros made a kick off. Balduíno Fontão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Simão Varanda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Amado hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 62ndth minute of the game Balduíno Fontão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nantwich United's Simão Varanda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cativa FC's Balduíno Fontão slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Simão Varanda. That made the score 0-3 after 65 minutes of play. Paulo Vasques succeeded in the game's 69th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Balduíno Fontão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Varanda having to interfere. Paulo Maurtio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Simão Varanda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Custódio Lourenço had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 84 minutes on the clock, Edmundo Areosa commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nantwich United! Paulo Maurtio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Maurtio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Simão Varanda having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cativa FC's zone, Custódio Lourenço stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Lourenço came out of the goal and Custódio Lourenço tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cativa FC played a much better game than Nantwich United and deserved their victory. The Nantwich United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
