Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paulo Dikaté started the match with the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 3 minutes into the game, when Camilo Fontão put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Peterlee booed when Worcester AF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Fontão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teta Teive recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute, Neide Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 12th minute by Emílio Vasques got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 14 minutes into the game, Worcester AF's Emílio Vasques nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zé Maurito made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When Vítor Serineu fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peterlee's protests and gave Vítor Serineu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Peterlee getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Vítor Serineu hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Worcester AF's Emílio Vasques ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé Maurito. Zé Maurito yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, Emílio Vasques notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Peterlee's Zé Maurito. Zé Maurito was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 26 minutes, Rolando Carvoeiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Worcester AF and the Peterlee players grew even worse after the yellow card. Pedro Polido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregório Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute Gregório Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Polido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Rolando Carvoeiro took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Zé Maurito to make any attempt to save it. Pedro Polido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Serineu in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Worcester AF's Marcelo Varanda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zé Maurito. Zé Maurito yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. Emílio Vasques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marcelo Varanda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zé Maurito having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Zé Maurito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Carvoeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Pedro Polido made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Gregório Sampaio sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Peterlee's zone, Marcelo Varanda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Maurito came out of the goal and Marcelo Varanda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peterlee's Zé Maurito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelo Varanda in the 64th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Peterlee's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Carvoeiro came free, but Zé Maurito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Worcester AF's Pedro Polido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Custódio Canales in the 71st minute of play. Paulo Dikaté hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The supporters of Worcester AF booed when Peterlee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Maurito came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Worcester AF's Emílio Vasques. But to his dismay, Emílio Vasques quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Pedro Polido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Custódio Canales, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. In the 89th minute Custódio Canales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Polido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Polido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vítor Serineu in the 93rd minute of the match. Worcester AF were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Peterlee for a fine match.
