Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After 15 played minutes Whitby got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Ericeira. If Edmundo Russo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Whitby's goal looked a bit too open when David Regalado came free, but Edmundo Fontão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, David Regalado cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edmundo Fontão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Ringwood defense, Balduíno Fonseca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toni Rochedo. The Ringwood fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toni Rochedo should have stopped the shot. After 34 played minutes Ringwood got a freekick which was hit by Lopo Maurtio. With a little luck, Ringwood's Toni Rochedo got control of the ball when Balduíno Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Regalado took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmundo Fontão. Edmundo Fontão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Whitby players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ringwood were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nuno Ericeira to strike the kick off in the second half. Toni Rochedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balduíno Fonseca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Regalado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmundo Fontão having to interfere. In the 61st minute, Vítor Rochedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Ringwood's Edmundo Russo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edmundo Fontão. That made the score 1-3 after 62 minutes of play. 68 minutes into the match, Ringwood's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Ericeira came free, but Toni Rochedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute, Balduíno Fonseca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toni Rochedo was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nuno Ericeira in the 74th minute of play forced Ringwood's goalkeeper Toni Rochedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Toni Rochedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nuno Ericeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ringwood walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
