Toni Dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Russo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Holmfirth City's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pôncio Manarte was slow to take the kick. During this time Ringwood's players had a chance to rest. 23 minutes into the game, Henrique Lando was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Holmfirth City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ringwood the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Holmfirth City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrique Lando to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes Holmfirth City got a freekick which was hit by Toni Dos Santos. Edmundo Russo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Toni Dos Santos skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Regalado in the 98th minute of play forced Holmfirth City's goalkeeper Toni Dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ringwood's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
