Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jorge Lima Clemente made the kick off which started today's match. David Regalado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrósio Malheiro having to interfere. Macedo FC's Ambrósio Malheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Regalado in the 8th minute of play. Ambrósio Malheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Russo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. David Regalado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrósio Malheiro having to interfere. If Rui Valies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Regalado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmundo Russo scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ambrósio Malheiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edmundo Russo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Regalado in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ambrósio Malheiro saved Macedo FC from getting behind. David Regalado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrósio Malheiro having to interfere. Macedo FC's Ambrósio Malheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Russo in the 40th minute of play. Custódio Areosa charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Custódio Areosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Pôncio Manarte missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 45 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Ambrósio Malheiro right hand side. After the first half Ringwood were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 50th minute, one of Ringwood:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ringwood. Custódio Areosa shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. David Regalado struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ambrósio Malheiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ringwood. Ambrósio Malheiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edmundo Russo in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Edmundo Russo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ringwood fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Edmundo Russo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Ambrósio Malheiro made a huge save. After some careless play in the Macedo FC defense, Edmundo Russo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ambrósio Malheiro. The Macedo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ambrósio Malheiro should have stopped the shot. Edmundo Russos short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Ambrósio Malheiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Macedo FC's Jorge Lima Clemente got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Edmundo Russo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, David Regalado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ringwood's supporters rose to their feet, but David Regalado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ambrósio Malheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ringwood booed when Macedo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jorge Lima Clemente didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ambrósio Malheiro was a little too slow when Edmundo Russo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 0-4. In the 93rd minute, Marcelo Curvelo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 96 minutes, Edmundo Russo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ringwood's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmundo Russo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ringwood's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
