After 7 minutes, Teodoro Freire mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KASSENDA UNITED CLUB and the Ilfracombe United players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, Teodoro Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Canales made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gildo Paes in the 20th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Ilfracombe United's goalkeeper Tiago Canales had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gildo Paes. Tiago Canales didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Teive went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 31st minute Tozé Varanda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hélio Malheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gildo Paes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 36thth minute, Tiago Canales skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Teodosio Calisto struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Tiago Canales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KASSENDA UNITED CLUB. When Mathæus Søegaard came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the KASSENDA UNITED CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathæus Søegaard couldn't finish the play. KASSENDA UNITED CLUB's Gildo Paes got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Zé Teive dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tiago Canales , 2-0. KASSENDA UNITED CLUB's Mathæus Søegaard got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
Rui Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Tiago Canales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 55 minutes, Gildo Paes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KASSENDA UNITED CLUB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gildo Paes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiago Canales took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathæus Søegaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gildo Paes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ilfracombe United's Tiago Canales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gildo Paes in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Gildo Paes notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ilfracombe United's Tiago Canales . Tiago Canales was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Ilfracombe United's zone, Zé Teive stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiago Canales came out of the goal and Zé Teive tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, Gildo Paes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KASSENDA UNITED CLUB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Ilfracombe United's Tiago Canales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui Santos in the 79th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ailton De Matos during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gildo Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Canales having to interfere. Gildo Paes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tiago Canales read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the KASSENDA UNITED CLUB players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
