In the 96th minute, Ivó Gonçalves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 99thth minute of the game Vítor Abelaira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Birkenhead's Pedro Bouça was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 102 minutes into the match, Wells FC's Feliks Ryback sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pedro Bouça narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Wells FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Birkenhead.
