After some careless play in the Henley on Thames defense, Pedro Firmino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Guedes. The Henley on Thames fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Guedes should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Nascimento in the 16th minute of play forced Henley on Thames's goalkeeper Paulo Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Henrique Galão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taverham's supporters rose to their feet, but Henrique Galão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Guedes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Guedes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigo Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 24thth minute of the game Custódio Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taverham's Ambrósio Jaka Jamba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Rodrigo Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paulo Guedes. Henley on Thames's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Taverham's Paulo Meneses got a free kick in the 31st minute. Paulo Guedes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pedro Firmino went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. 39 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Nascimento came free, but Paulo Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Custódio Ramos was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Henley on Thames's goalkeeper Paulo Guedes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Nascimento. The crowd rose to their feet as Henrique Galão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paulo Guedes. That made the score 1-5 in the 69 minute of play. Paulo Guedes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Henrique Galão in the 76th minute. 82 minutes in the game, Henrique Galão dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. When Cláudio Carvoeiro came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Henley on Thames fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cláudio Carvoeiro couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the match, Taverham's goal looked a bit too open when Custódio Ramos came free, but Ambrósio Jaka Jamba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Paulo Meneses was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. A collision led to Taverham getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Paulo Meneses hit a great ball. The Henley on Thames supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Taverham's performance. The match ended with a win for Taverham.
