Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albertino Almeida in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Taverham's Ambrósio Jaka Jamba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evaristo Manarte in the 13th minute of play. Taverham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olimpianos United the free kick. Emirares Vasques kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Luís Correia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Henrique Galão's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. With a little luck, Olimpianos United's Luís Correia got control of the ball when Rodrigo Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line.
