Tiago Bouça struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Pedro Bouça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BASE ANGOLANA. A sloppy throw-in by Paulo Tenória in the 28th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Birkenhead's Magno Bouça. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Bouça in the 45th minute of play forced Birkenhead's goalkeeper Pedro Bouça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivó Gonçalves was the one to do the kick off.
