Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Miguel Abelaira kicked off to start the match. Miguel Abelaira charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Miguel Abelaira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Henley on Thames booed when Marvel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Abelaira didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 minutes, Sebastián Akwa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Henley on Thames and the Marvel FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Henley on Thames getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Sebastián Akwa hit a great ball. Marvel FC's Magno Samakuva got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 12 minutes, Miguel Abelaira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marvel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miguel Abelaira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 18 played minutes Marvel FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Abelaira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Custódio Ramos in the 21st minute of play forced Marvel FC's goalkeeper Eduardo Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Nascimento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Custódio Ramos's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. When Cláudio Carvoeiro came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Henley on Thames fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cláudio Carvoeiro couldn't finish the play. Custódio Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduardo Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Custódio Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. Rolando Carvoeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Rodrigo Moco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Custódio Ramos might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eduardo Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Custódio Ramos ran back to his position shaking his head. Cláudio Carvoeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cláudio Carvoeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Custódio Ramos scored 0-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduardo Nascimento, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Custódio Ramos in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduardo Nascimento saved Marvel FC from getting behind.

In the 57th minute Custódio Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Nascimento saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marvel FC's Eduardo Nascimento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Marvel FC from getting a goal against them. Rolando Carvoeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Nascimento having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Magno Samakuva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Custódio Ramos in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Marvel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Quilempan to maneuver through the defense. If Carlos Carvoeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henley on Thames's Custódio Ramos got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodrigo Moco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Nascimento showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Custódio Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Magno Samakuva's late challenge caught a Henley on Thames's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Magno Samakuva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute of the match Cláudio Carvoeiro sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduardo Nascimento skillfully saved the ball. Custódio Ramos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Eduardo Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cláudio Carvoeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Nascimento having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Marvel FC's Miguel Abelaira got a free kick in the 89th minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Rolando Carvoeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Henley on Thames's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Carvoeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henley on Thames played a much better game than Marvel FC and deserved their victory. The Marvel FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
