Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Avelino Caneças kicked off to start the match. Henley on Thames's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Brierley Hill Uqewnited's goal looked a bit too open when Cláudio Carvoeiro came free, but Tiago Ericeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Brierley Hill Uqewnited booed when Henley on Thames was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélio Fontão didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tiago Ericeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cláudio Carvoeiro in the 28th minute of play. Paulo Guedes made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Avelino Caneças sent off a good shot on target. Henley on Thames's Paulo Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Henley on Thames from getting a goal against them. Henley on Thames's Paulo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Avelino Caneças in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Teodoro Onas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulo Guedes. The goal made the score 2-1. Cláudio Carvoeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Areosa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Paulo Guedes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Custódio Ramos to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulo Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Areosa in the 52nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Areosa in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulo Guedes saved Henley on Thames from getting behind. Paulo Guedes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Avelino Caneças went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Henley on Thames's supporters rose to their feet, but Custódio Ramos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
