Damaso Aznaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alão Felício having to interfere. Alão Felício was a little too slow when Feliks Ryback got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 3-0. Alão Felício stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feliks Ryback's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. In the 41st minute of the match Vítor Abelaira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alão Felício skillfully saved the ball.
