The destroyers's Nito Dos Santos got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eduardo Nascimento came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by The destroyers's Nito Dos Santos. But to his dismay, Nito Dos Santos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Nito Dos Santos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nito Dos Santos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo Nascimento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nito Dos Santos's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Eduardo Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregório Dikaté in the 27th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Gregório Dikaté managed to get in a good position for a shot. The destroyers's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregório Dikaté was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduardo Nascimento breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute, Nito Dos Santos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduardo Nascimento was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 45 minutes of play, The destroyers's Gregório Dikaté made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eduardo Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there!

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Abelaira made a kick off. After 54 played minutes Marvel FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Abelaira. In the 55th minute, Nuno Sá sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Marvel FC's Eduardo Nascimento didn't even have to move. In the 57th minute, Gregório Dikaté ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduardo Nascimento was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. When Custódio Quilempan fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored The destroyers's protests and gave Custódio Quilempan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Marvel FC booed when The destroyers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Custódio Quilempan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Magno Samakuva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The destroyers's Gregório Dikaté got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carlos Carvoeiro hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Gregório Dikaté sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gregório Dikaté struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Eduardo Nascimento didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The destroyers. Nito Dos Santos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Nascimento read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, The destroyers's Gregório Dikaté sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduardo Nascimento narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. The destroyers had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
