The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alão Sampaio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simão Correia in the 72nd minute of play forced Clube Recreativo Operário's goalkeeper Avelino Novais to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ambrósio Borges took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Avelino Novais. Avelino Novais dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 79 minutes into the match, Prudhoe's goal looked a bit too open when Alão Sampaio came free, but Simão Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alão Sampaio came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Clube Recreativo Operário fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alão Sampaio couldn't finish the play. After 84 minutes of play, Prudhoe's Simão Correia made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Avelino Novais was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Clube Recreativo Operário getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Alão Sampaio hit a great ball. Tadeu Cruz's late challenge caught a Prudhoe's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
