Edgar Zamora came out of the goal and Carlos Valies tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edgar Zamora took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Valies, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Skelmersdale getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Neide Da Costa hit a great ball. After having played for 27 minutes, Paulo Da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Os Intocaveis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Da Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carlos Valies charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Valies the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Skelmersdale got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Valies. After 34 minutes Custódio Nascimento dribbled himself free with the goalkeeper and shot a hard ball that touched the crossbar and went into the goal, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Carlos Valies managed to get in a good position for a shot. Skelmersdale's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Valies was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Zamora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Carlos Valies recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Neide Da Costa charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neide Da Costa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Neide Da Costa hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Carlos Correia put in a rough tackle. 44 minutes into the game, one of Skelmersdale:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fábio Montoia to strike the kick off in the second half. After 60 played minutes Skelmersdale got a freekick which was hit by Neide Da Costa. After a rather tough play, Skelmersdale's David Samakuva got a free kick in the 70th minute. After a rather tough play, Skelmersdale's Tadeu Pedrosa got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Fábio Galão took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Viveque Matta. Camilo Tenória's late challenge caught a Skelmersdale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Tenória helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Camilo Tenória hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Camilo Tenória in the 78th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Skelmersdale's Quim Almedia. Fábio Ganete got a throw-in 79 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gregório Maurito. Fábio Montoia fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 82nd minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. In the 91st minute, Carlos Valies hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Gregório Maurito managed to get in a good position for a shot. Os Intocaveis's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregório Maurito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Viveque Matta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The long shot by Camilo Tenória in the 96th minute really tested Viveque Matta's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Os Intocaveis getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Fábio Galão hit a great ball.
