Viveque Matta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Ramos in the 18th minute of the match. Cláudio Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Custódio Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Bedale defense, Carlos Valies kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Toni Boal. The Bedale fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Toni Boal should have stopped the shot. Carlos Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Ramos in the 39th minute of play forced Skelmersdale's goalkeeper Viveque Matta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
