In the 14th minute, Simão Correia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emílio Serineu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 16th minute, Emílio Serineu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiago Bouça lost his temper 19 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Weaverham fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 18th minute. Penalty! Weaverham:s Emílio Serineu showed great skill when he stopped Rogério Freire:s penalty. The supporters of Weaverham booed when Prudhoe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simão Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ambrósio Borges hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Balduíno Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Weaverham's Rui Flores ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Simão Bastos. Simão Bastos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Prudhoe's Simão Bastos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Prudhoe from getting a goal against them. Prudhoe's Simão Bastos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emílio Serineu in the 41st minute of play. Rui Flores sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Prudhoe's Simão Bastos got control of the ball when Rui Flores tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 46 minutes, Emílio Serineu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Weaverham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emílio Serineu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

After 55 minutes, Simão Correia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Prudhoe and the Weaverham players grew even worse after the yellow card. Simão Bastos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emílio Serineu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84 minutes of play, Weaverham's Balduíno Correia made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Simão Bastos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Simão Bastos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rui Flores in the 90th minute of play. Fábio Malheiro's late challenge caught a Weaverham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fábio Malheiro helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Weaverham booed when Prudhoe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fábio Malheiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Weaverham walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
