Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emílio Almeida started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heitor Mantorras in the 4th minute of play forced Altonsdf's goalkeeper Hipólito Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 5 minutes into the game, Rogério Jacinto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edgar Jacinto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edgar Jacinto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emílio Almeida in the 9th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Rogério Jacinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Altonsdf's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Abbey Wood the free kick. Hipólito Duarte had great luck who in the 16thth minute grab hold of the ball when Heitor Mantorras from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Hipólito Duarte made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Felíx Valies sent off a good shot on target. In the 19th minute Cláudio Odemira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipólito Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Abbey Wood's Hipólito Duarte threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Heitor Mantorras, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 1-2 became the score in the 34th minute when Felíx Valies elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Heitor Mantorras kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hipólito Duarte. That made the score 2-2 in the 37 minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match, Heitor Mantorras tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hipólito Duarte saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Abbey Wood's Edgar Jacinto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastián Chivukuvuku in the 41st minute of play. Rogério Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Abbey Wood's zone, Emílio Almeida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Jacinto came out of the goal and Emílio Almeida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Heitor Mantorras made the kick off in the second half. Edgar Jacinto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emílio Almeida in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute Heitor Mantorras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipólito Duarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Emílio Almeida managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altonsdf's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emílio Almeida was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgar Jacinto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogério Jacinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Lourenço charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Lourenço the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Abbey Wood getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Camilo Lourenço hit a great ball. Edgar Jacinto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogério Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72nd minute, Altonsdf's Sebastián Chivukuvuku ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edgar Jacinto. Edgar Jacinto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. In the 74th match minute, Abbey Wood was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Lourenço to maneuver through the defense. Luís Fonseca hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Sebastián Chivukuvuku sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Rogério Jacinto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Edgar Jacinto, passed just outside the right post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Emílio Almeida got free with Edgar Jacinto in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hipólito Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Heitor Mantorras, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Luís Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The supporters of Altonsdf booed when Abbey Wood was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Lourenço didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pedro Montinho fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Altonsdf's protests and gave Pedro Montinho a yellow card for diving instead. Pedro Montinho hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Altonsdf eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
