Rodrigo Malheiro hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th match minute, Angola United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emirares Boal to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Diamantino Flores sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Angola United's Hortêncio Lourenço didn't even have to move. Lopo Tremura hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Rodrigo Malheiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felíx Regalado kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 21 minutes into the game, when Ailton Curvelo put in a rough tackle. After 21 played minutes Ferryton got a freekick which was hit by Ailton Curvelo. In the 22nd minute, Luís Jacinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Rodrigo Malheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lopo Tremura during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcelo Boniel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Luís Jacinto. Marcelo Barreiros took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Boniel. Marcelo Boniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After 34 minutes, Rodrigo Malheiro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Angola United and the Ferryton players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rodrigo Malheiro hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Lopo Onas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferryton's supporters rose to their feet, but Lopo Onas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hortêncio Lourenço breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Ferryton booed when Angola United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipólito Lando didn't get a good kick on the ball. The throw-in from Lopo Tremura in the 44th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Angola United's Miguel Pepetela. Marcelo Boniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Barreiros in the 48th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Marcelo Barreiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viktor Wickander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Hortêncio Lourenço tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Marcelo Barreiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, Ferryton's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Barreiros came free, but Marcelo Boniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Angola United's Ivó Varanda got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Viktor Wickander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferryton's supporters rose to their feet, but Viktor Wickander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hortêncio Lourenço breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Lopo Onas came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Ferryton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lopo Onas couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Angola United's zone, Viktor Wickander stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hortêncio Lourenço came out of the goal and Viktor Wickander tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Many of Ferryton's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Ferryton may have spent more time on the ball, but Angola United were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
