After a rather tough play, Whittlesey FC's Carlos Lando got a free kick in the 6th minute. Tadeu Canales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Hector Dikaté tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 10 minutes into the game, Whittlesey FC's Custódio Duarte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hortêncio Dos Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Hortêncio Dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Fernandes Braga in the 16th minute of play. Hortêncio Dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Custódio Duarte in the 17th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Flavio Canales notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC VALENTE's Hortêncio Dos Santos. Hortêncio Dos Santos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 24 minutes into the match, FC VALENTE's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Fernandes Braga came free, but Hortêncio Dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vítor Malafaia kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Flavio Canales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Canales took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hortêncio Dos Santos. Hortêncio Dos Santos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 30 minutes into the match, Custódio Duarte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hortêncio Dos Santos. FC VALENTE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Custódio Duarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 38 minutes into the game, Flavio Canales cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Hortêncio Dos Santos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hector Dikaté made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Hélio Moco sent off a good shot on target. After 48 played minutes Whittlesey FC got a freekick which was hit by Marílio Ermida. FC VALENTE's Ubaldo Meneses got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-6 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hélio Moco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Whittlesey FC's Rolando Fernandes Braga ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hortêncio Dos Santos. Hortêncio Dos Santos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Hortêncio Dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Canales in the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, FC VALENTE's goalkeeper Hortêncio Dos Santos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Custódio Duarte. Rolando Fernandes Braga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Hortêncio Dos Santos made a huge save. 61 minutes into the match, Jorge Apalanga dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hortêncio Dos Santos, 0-8. FC VALENTE's Hortêncio Dos Santos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save FC VALENTE from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, FC VALENTE's Hortêncio Dos Santos got control of the ball when Rolando Fernandes Braga tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 73rd play minute Custódio Duarte came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hortêncio Dos Santos. 0-9. Hortêncio Dos Santos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Canales in the 81st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Whittlesey FC's zone, Sebastián Boal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hector Dikaté came out of the goal and Sebastián Boal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Whittlesey FC's Hector Dikaté played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hélio Moco in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Whittlesey FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC VALENTE.
