Spectators: 9225 (Terracing: 6920, Seating: 2122, VIP seats: 183) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rolando Fernandes Braga started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Lopo Onas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hector Dikaté saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcelo Boniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Fernandes Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Hector Dikaté showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lopo Onas in the 7th minute of the match. Hector Dikaté came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Ferryton's Felíx Regalado. But to his dismay, Felíx Regalado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 13th minute Custódio Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ferryton! Custódio Montinho walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Rolando Fernandes Braga hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lopo Onas in the 20th minute of play forced Whittlesey FC's goalkeeper Hector Dikaté to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Ferryton were awarded a corner. Diamantino Flores went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Ferryton's corner Diamantino Flores fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Hector Dikaté quite easily take care of the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Whittlesey FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rolando Fernandes Braga to maneuver through the defense. Marcelo Boniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Canales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Whittlesey FC's Hector Dikaté played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lopo Onas in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute Rolando Fernandes Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hector Dikaté came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Ferryton's Lopo Onas. But to his dismay, Lopo Onas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 40 minutes, Marílio Ermida mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Whittlesey FC and the Ferryton players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Whittlesey FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Marílio Ermida hit a great ball. If Viktor Wickander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Lopo Onas made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Lopo Onas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Hernani Samakuva fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ferryton's protests and gave Hernani Samakuva a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ferryton getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Hernani Samakuva hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Viktor Wickander in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hector Dikaté prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute of the match Custódio Montinho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Boniel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Fernandes Braga in the 73rd minute of play forced Ferryton's goalkeeper Marcelo Boniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Whittlesey FC's goalkeeper Hector Dikaté had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduardo Boal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Custódio Duarte in the 78th minute of play forced Ferryton's goalkeeper Marcelo Boniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Lopo Onas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferryton's supporters rose to their feet, but Lopo Onas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Dikaté breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Boniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Fernandes Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Ferryton's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Diamantino Flores in the 87th minute. The corner ended in Diamantino Flores almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Whittlesey FC's Hector Dikaté did a great save. After a rather tough play, Ferryton's Diamantino Flores got a free kick in the 89th minute. After having played for 90 minutes, Flavio Canales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Whittlesey FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Canales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Viktor Wickander managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferryton's supporters rose to their feet, but Viktor Wickander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Dikaté breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Whittlesey FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ferryton were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
