After 10 minutes, Marílio Vasques mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cholsey FC and the Província players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cholsey FC's Marílio Vasques got a free kick in the 10th minute. With a little luck, Província's Paulo Caneças got control of the ball when Balduíno Boal tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, Vice Alilović made a precise shot to the right of Alda Preto. Cholsey FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 22nd match minute, Cholsey FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Galão to maneuver through the defense. Província's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rodrigo Flores 24 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. In the 27th match minute, Cholsey FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marílio Vasques to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the game, Província's Alda Nascimento nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alda Preto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. 33 minutes into the game, Sebastián Dikaté cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Alda Preto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 39th minute, Vice Alilović made a precise shot to the right of Alda Preto. Cholsey FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sebastián Dikaté to make the kick off. Sebastián Dikaté could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Alda Preto made a huge save. 53 minutes into the match, Cholsey FC's goalkeeper Alda Preto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Flavio Melo. Vítor Quilempan charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vítor Quilempan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vítor Quilempan kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. The supporters of Província booed when Cholsey FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Canales didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alda Preto was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Alda Nascimento. Província's Sebastián Dikaté was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 62nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Alda Preto made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Alda Nascimento sent off a good shot on target. After 70 played minutes Cholsey FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Galão. Alda Preto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vice Alilović in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute Sebastián Dikaté shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alda Preto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cholsey FC's Alda Preto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Cholsey FC from getting a goal against them. 81 minutes into the match, Cholsey FC's goalkeeper Alda Preto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastián Dikaté. Vice Alilović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Província's Vice Alilović slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Alda Preto. That made the score 2-7 after 85 minutes of play. 87 minutes into the match, Sebastián Dikaté notched a goal, 2-8, to the right of Cholsey FC's Alda Preto. Alda Preto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cholsey FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Vice Alilović scored to the left of an out of position Alda Preto, making the score, 2-9. Província's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
