The Dínamo Kwanza fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when Dínamo Kwanza's Felíx Galão looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Felíx Galão took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alda Preto. Alda Preto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The audience was convinced that Felíx Galão's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alda Preto was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulo Maurito during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th minute, Felíx Galão ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alda Preto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Alda Preto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felíx Galão, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 69th minute, one of Dínamo Kwanza:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dínamo Kwanza. Balduíno Boal shot the penalty kick right outside the post. In the 72nd match minute, Cholsey FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marílio Vasques to maneuver through the defense. Ambrósio Guedes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 73rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alda Preto. Cholsey FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Alda Preto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felíx Galão in the 76th minute of play.
