Jorge Roma made in the 7th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Petro Atlético's Christian Gagriel. In the 7th minute, Petro Atlético's Osasun Palomino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osasun Palomino in the 13th minute of play forced Desert Fury's goalkeeper Hernani Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Petro Atlético's Edmund Maziarski got a free kick in the 18th minute. The Desert Fury fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Desert Fury's Afonso Amado looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Desert Fury's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Osasun Palomino scored to the left of an out of position Hernani Correia, making the score, 2-1. Hernani Correia didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 25th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Osasun Palomino took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Hernani Correia to make any attempt to save it. 38 minutes into the match, Petro Atlético's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeu Flores came free, but Daniel Gavin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernani Correia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osasun Palomino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hernani Correia made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Osasun Palomino sent off a good shot on target. Osasun Palomino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Hernani Correia when he managed to save the team from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Osasun Palomino made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Osasun Palomino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hernani Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osasun Palomino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernani Correia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Osasun Palomino went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 10-1 was the resulting score. 77 minutes into the match, Desert Fury's goal looked a bit too open when Osasun Palomino came free, but Hernani Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeu Flores hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Hernani Correia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Desert Fury getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Nuno Ramos hit a great ball. When Osasun Palomino came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Petro Atlético fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osasun Palomino couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Desert Fury's zone, Osasun Palomino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernani Correia came out of the goal and Osasun Palomino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osasun Palomino recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Petro Atlético had played much better football throughout.
