Delmano Nascimento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edmundo Borges got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Teodoro Pegacho. A collision led to Great Ayton getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. João Carlos Nascimento hit a great ball. Teodoro Pegacho made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pompílio Melo immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Zamora in the 68th minute of play forced Great Ayton's goalkeeper Delmano Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
