When Fuzile Patel in the 23rd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Lesego Sephadi kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. When Reitfontein's Fuzile Patel in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Fuzile Patel sped through FC Vaalhoek's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lesego Sephadi. The supporters of Reitfontein booed when FC Vaalhoek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hanile Patel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lesego Sephadi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fuzile Patel, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Alpheus Komani might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dumisane Nomvete. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alpheus Komani ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Vaalhoek's goalkeeper Lesego Sephadi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Reitfontein fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC Vaalhoek had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
