Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Silas Mbheki took the kick off in the first half of the match. Darren Mokatimi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silas Mbheki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silas Mbheki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Darren Mokatimi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silas Mbheki might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Darren Mokatimi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Silas Mbheki ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Odidini's zone, Silas Mbheki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darren Mokatimi came out of the goal and Silas Mbheki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Darren Mokatimi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Mbheki, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Silas Mbheki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nazeer Shongwe scored 1-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismail Nunes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Boereplaas's zone, Nazeer Shongwe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ismail Nunes came out of the goal and Nazeer Shongwe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Boereplaas getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Thabo Mkhonza hit a great ball. In the 38th play minute Jafta Mufumadi came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ismail Nunes. 2-0. A hard shot 42 in the game by Nazeer Shongwe from a close distance when the talented Ismail Nunes managed to make a qualified save. Boereplaas's players were relieved. Thabo Mkhwanazi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nazeer Shongwe to make the kick off. A collision led to Boereplaas getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Boyisani Lekgwathi hit a great ball. After 61 played minutes Odidini got a freekick which was hit by Mthunzi Mabele. Silas Mbheki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Darren Mokatimi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Silas Mbheki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boereplaas's supporters rose to their feet, but Silas Mbheki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Darren Mokatimi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maluleke Sono during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Odidini getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Maluleke Sono hit a great ball. William Collins kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Nazeer Shongwe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ismail Nunes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Silas Mbheki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Odidini fans cheered their team off the field, for while Boereplaas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
