Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rob Okpara started the match with the kick off. FC Besonderheid's defense didn't have a chance, in the 4th minute, when Shumani Mbule scored to the left of an out of position Dumisane Modipa, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, ZETONE's Jabu Melele got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Rob Okpara came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the ZETONE fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rob Okpara couldn't finish the play. A collision led to FC Besonderheid getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Siphokazi Nhlapo hit a great ball. Shumani Mbule struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Dumisane Modipa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZETONE. After 29 played minutes, FC Besonderheid's Papi Smith shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elias Machete came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Besonderheid reached it. FC Besonderheid's Dumisane Modipa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Besonderheid from getting a goal against them. ZETONE's Rob Okpara got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dumisane Modipa made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Rob Okpara sent off a good shot on target. Rob Okpara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dumisane Modipa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dumisane Mkhize to strike the kick off in the second half. If Edries Patel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jabu Melele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dumisane Mkhize during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 57 played minutes FC Besonderheid got a freekick which was hit by Dumisane Mkhize. A collision led to FC Besonderheid getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Oliver Mkhize hit a great ball. Rob Okpara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumisane Modipa having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rob Okpara in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dumisane Modipa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dumisane Mkhize recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rob Okpara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jabu Melele recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rob Okpara might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dumisane Modipa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rob Okpara ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jabu Melele in the 87th minute of play forced FC Besonderheid's goalkeeper Dumisane Modipa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Siphokazi Nhlapo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elias Machete showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 96th minute, Dumisane Mkhize hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rob Okpara's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dumisane Modipa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the ZETONE players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
