Spectators: 6877 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1877, VIP seats: 0) Dumisane Mkhize made the kick off and thus started the match. Dumisane Modipa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lindo Madiba in the 9th minute of play. Wycliffe Mumede made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Edries Patel sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, Mpenza Mandla left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mabetshe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to Mabetshe getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Elias Tembe hit a great ball. Lindo Madiba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lindo Madiba in the 25th minute of play forced FC Besonderheid's goalkeeper Dumisane Modipa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dumisane Mkhize in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wycliffe Mumede saved Mabetshe from getting behind. After 34 minutes, Jafta Koen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mabetshe and the FC Besonderheid players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mabetshe getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Jafta Koen hit a great ball. Oliver Mkhize was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 35th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 36 minutes of play Mabetshe's Jafta Koen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of FC Besonderheid booed when Mabetshe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jafta Koen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lindo Madiba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lindo Madiba to strike the kick off in the second half. Lindo Madiba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dumisane Modipa having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in FC Besonderheid's zone, Jason Qabi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dumisane Modipa came out of the goal and Jason Qabi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charles Klaasens hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Dumisane Mkhize received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Wycliffe Mumede tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 68th play minute Mpenza Mandla came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dumisane Modipa. 0-3. Dumisane Mkhize fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wycliffe Mumede having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Besonderheid's Charles Klaasens got a free kick in the 75th minute. After a defensive mix-up in FC Besonderheid's zone, Lindo Madiba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dumisane Modipa came out of the goal and Lindo Madiba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lindo Madiba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Dumisane Modipa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edries Patel struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Wycliffe Mumede didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Besonderheid. Edries Patel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wycliffe Mumede having to interfere.
