Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Besonderheid's Dumisane Mkhize started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to College Rovers FC getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Rob Mabele hit a great ball. Wycliffe Kubheka came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Besonderheid's Dumisane Mkhize. But to his dismay, Dumisane Mkhize quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. A collision led to FC Besonderheid getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Papi Smith hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, College Rovers FC's Simamane Madima tried to score from far away in the 11th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Dumisane Modipa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mabusela Stoltz in the 15th minute of the match. 19 minutes in the game, Mabusela Stoltz fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dumisane Modipa having to interfere. After a rather tough play, FC Besonderheid's Nkosi Steyn got a free kick in the 21st minute. 22 minutes into the match, College Rovers FC's Simamane Madima broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. College Rovers FC's James Tau got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enock Magakula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumisane Modipa having to interfere. After 29 minutes, Papi Smith mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Besonderheid and the College Rovers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, one of FC Besonderheid:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Besonderheid. Dumisane Modipa had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Simamane Madima's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Edries Patel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Wycliffe Kubheka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If James Tau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Mabusela Stoltz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dumisane Modipa. That made the score 1-1 in the 41 minute of play. Dumisane Mkhize sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Edries Patel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Wycliffe Kubheka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edries Patel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edries Patel hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, College Rovers FC's goalkeeper Wycliffe Kubheka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edries Patel. Hlamane Mbheki kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Wycliffe Kubheka came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Besonderheid's Dumisane Mkhize. But to his dismay, Dumisane Mkhize quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Nicolas Mbule fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored College Rovers FC's protests and gave Nicolas Mbule a yellow card for diving instead. Dumisane Mkhize recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edries Patel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wycliffe Kubheka read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. With an all-out effort, FC Besonderheid's Wycliffe Kubheka threw himself towards the right post 80 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dumisane Mkhize, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Dumisane Mkhize received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Wycliffe Kubheka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mabusela Stoltz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Dumisane Modipa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. James Tau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Dumisane Modipa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Besonderheid's Dumisane Modipa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by James Tau in the 92nd minute of play. The College Rovers FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Besonderheid's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Besonderheid.
