The referee showed Mawetu Mufadi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 26 played minutes College Rovers FC got a freekick which was hit by Mawetu Mufadi. Mabusela Stoltz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Legako Nomvete having to make a save. Legako Nomvete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mabusela Stoltz, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Legako Nomvete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mabusela Stoltz in the 31st minute of the match. Yzerfontein's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Miti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wycliffe Kubheka showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 69thth minute of the game James Tau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yzerfontein's Legako Nomvete was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. College Rovers FC's Wycliffe Kubheka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save College Rovers FC from getting a goal against them. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as College Rovers FC had held the ball for most of the match.
