Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Neilersdrif's Meshack Sephiri started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Neilersdrif's Papi Tembe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gordon Madima in the 9th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gordon Madima in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Papi Tembe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Promise Mhlongo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Aubrey Thobejane made a huge save. Boyisani Modipa hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Meshack Sephiri struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Aubrey Thobejane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neilersdrif. Promise Mhlongo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Meshack Sephiri kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aubrey Thobejane. That made the score 2-1 in the 39 minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Rabelani Shoba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Meshack Sephiri struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Aubrey Thobejane didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neilersdrif. Promise Mhlongo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aubrey Thobejane having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gordon Madima stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Promise Mhlongo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Meshack Sephiri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aubrey Thobejane having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, FC Lonalis's goal looked a bit too open when Meshack Sephiri came free, but Aubrey Thobejane reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Meshack Sephiri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 63rd minute, Meshack Sephiri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Papi Tembe was a little too slow when Boyisani Modipa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 2-2. FC Lonalis's Aubrey Thobejane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Meshack Sephiri in the 74th minute of play. A collision led to Neilersdrif getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Elias Ntsume hit a great ball. After having played for 78 minutes, Gordon Madima managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lonalis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gordon Madima was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 83 minutes of play, Neilersdrif's Meshack Sephiri made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aubrey Thobejane was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Promise Mhlongo in the 91st minute of play forced FC Lonalis's goalkeeper Aubrey Thobejane to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Promise Mhlongo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Lazarus Roberts fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Lonalis's protests and gave Lazarus Roberts a yellow card for diving instead. Lazarus Roberts kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Neilersdrif walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
