Spectators: 6842 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Maxwell Modipa took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the FC Mushane defense, Rabelani Shoba kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lungie Nhlapo. The FC Mushane fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lungie Nhlapo should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rabelani Shoba got free with Lungie Nhlapo in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Rabelani Shoba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Lonalis's Gordon Madima was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 14th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 19th minute Jikolo Thwala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aubrey Thobejane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Boyisani Modipa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC Lonalis's Rabelani Shoba got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26thth minute of the game Gordon Madima who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Mushane's Lungie Nhlapo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gordon Madima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lungie Nhlapo having to interfere. Gordon Madima sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aubrey Thobejane stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maxwell Modipa's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. If Nkosi Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, FC Lonalis's Lungie Mangope got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute Gordon Madima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lungie Nhlapo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rabelani Shoba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 61 minutes into the game, Boyisana Mncube was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Mushane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Lonalis the free kick. In the 70th minute, Maxwell Modipa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rabelani Shoba in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lungie Nhlapo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 79 played minutes FC Lonalis got a freekick which was hit by Boyisani Modipa. Aubrey Thobejane didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 85th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. 87 minutes into the game, Kingston Stoltz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Mushane's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Lonalis the free kick. In the 87th match minute, FC Mushane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kingston Stoltz to maneuver through the defense. When Boyisana Mabalane fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Mushane's protests and gave Boyisana Mabalane a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, FC Mushane's Boyisana Mabalane got a free kick in the 89th minute. Lungie Nhlapo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rabelani Shoba in the 90th minute of play. In the 93rd minute FC Lonalis were awarded a corner. Darren Mabalane went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Darren Mabalane almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Mushane's Lungie Nhlapo did a great save. In the 93rd minute, Nkosi Nunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
