Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Sipho Nunes in the 3rd minute of play forced Mcambalala's goalkeeper Charles Patel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th minute, Mathibela Mbule hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sipho Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Patel having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Sipho Nunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mcambalala's Charles Patel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sipho Nunes in the 11th minute of play. When the match clock showed 13 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Henry Mkhize sped through Thusano's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Johann Smith. The audience was convinced that Sipho Nunes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charles Patel was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Sipho Nunes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rob Sephiri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Johann Smith having to interfere. Rafael Josephs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Charles Patel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Patel made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Rafael Josephs sent off a good shot on target. After 41 played minutes Thusano got a freekick which was hit by Lungie Dube. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henry Mkhize in the 44th minute of play forced Thusano's goalkeeper Johann Smith to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Sipho Nunes made the kick off in the second half. Johann Smith made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Rob Sephiri sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Thusano getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Mabusela Sono hit a great ball. When Thusano's Sipho Nunes in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mcambalala's goalie prevented a goal. In the 60th match minute, Mcambalala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hoadley Phakathi to maneuver through the defense. Mabusela Stoltz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 68th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Charles Patel. Mcambalala's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 69th minute, Hoadley Phakathi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 70 minutes into the match, Mcambalala's goal looked a bit too open when Sipho Nunes came free, but Charles Patel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Mcambalala's Henry Mkhize ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Johann Smith. Johann Smith yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Charles Patel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael Josephs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henry Mkhize received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Johann Smith tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sipho Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Patel having to interfere. The Mcambalala players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
