With a little luck, Mcambalala's Charles Patel got control of the ball when Kingston Kubheka tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Kenmore's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Freddie Sephadi ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Henry Mkhize had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Kenmore supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mcambalala's performance. The match ended with a win for Mcambalala.
