After 69 played minutes Zolile FC got a freekick which was hit by Harry Thabang. A collision led to Welgevonden getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Madolo Kekana hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Welgevonden's zone, Dean Mufumadi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boyisani Collins came out of the goal and Dean Mufumadi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Steve Kubheka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyisani Collins having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steve Kubheka got free with Boyisani Collins in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 96th minute of the match, Steve Kubheka got a very nice opportunity to score, but Boyisani Collins was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zolile FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
