Spectators: 6861 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1861, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rafael Qabi started the match with the kick off. After 7 played minutes Dambisa got a freekick which was hit by Etienne Modise. Mabusela Modise received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Albert Mkhize tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernard Bandura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Zwane having to interfere. Rafael Qabi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lindo Ntsume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th match minute, Thwalikhulu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Nomvete to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Dambisa booed when Thwalikhulu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Noxolo Mhlongo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Lindo Ntsume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albert Mkhize stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mabusela Modise's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Thwalikhulu's Albert Mkhize played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lindo Ntsume in the 34th minute of play. Albert Mkhize took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mabusela Modise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bernard Bandura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Allan Zwane made a huge save. In the 41st minute, Bernard Bandura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Allan Zwane was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Mabusela Modise made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Thwalikhulu getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Hassan Mkhize hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute Bernard Bandura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Zwane saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lindo Ntsume recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Etienne Modise during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Etienne Modise kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Mabusela Modise rounded Thwalikhulu's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. In the 77thth minute of the game Bernard Bandura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dambisa's Allan Zwane was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 77 played minutes Dambisa got a freekick which was hit by Etienne Modise. After 84 played minutes Thwalikhulu got a freekick which was hit by Hanile Madiya. After having played for 85 minutes, Lindo Ntsume managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dambisa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lindo Ntsume was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernard Bandura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Allan Zwane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Musa Thebile during the 99th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thwalikhulu's Michael Radebe couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 100th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Dambisa. Dambisa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
