Spectators: 6854 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1854, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dean Bartlett kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute Dean Bartlett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mabusela Machete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tebogo Wanani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mabusela Machete having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dean Bartlett in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mabusela Machete prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tebogo Wanani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gaandrik's goalkeeper Dean Sono, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mabusela Machete stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dean Bartlett's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. FC Cloeteskraal's Mabusela Machete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Bartlett in the 36th minute of play. Mabusela Machete took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tebogo Wanani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jafta Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After 42 minutes of play, FC Cloeteskraal's Tebogo Madima made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dean Sono was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

52 minutes into the match, Gaandrik's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Patel came free, but Dean Sono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tebogo Wanani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mabusela Machete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dean Bartlett in the 61st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Gaandrik's zone, Joseph Mncube stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dean Sono came out of the goal and Joseph Mncube tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the match, Gaandrik's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Mncube came free, but Dean Sono reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tebogo Wanani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 77 minutes into the game, Joseph Mncube cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Dean Sono was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dean Sono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenny Patel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dean Sono stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kenny Patel's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. FC Cloeteskraal's Mabusela Machete played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Bartlett in the 94th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Cloeteskraal fans cheered their team off the field, for while Gaandrik had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
