The supporters of FC Randburg booed when Gaandrik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Sibeko didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dean Sono was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tyrell Okpara showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gaandrik's goalkeeper Dean Sono, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tomas Magagane struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Dean Sono didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Randburg. A collision led to Gaandrik getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Elias Sibeko hit a great ball. Fuzile Stoltz hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Tomas Magagane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dean Sono having to interfere. Fuzile Stoltz kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Tyrell Okpara took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Dean Sono to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Gaandrik getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Tebogo Wanani hit a great ball. Tomas Magagane's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dean Sono firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tebogo Wanani in the 46th minute of play forced FC Randburg's goalkeeper Freddie Sibeko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When FC Randburg's Tyrell Okpara in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The wind increased when Dean Bartlett made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Gaandrik defense, Tyrell Okpara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dean Sono. The Gaandrik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dean Sono should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute Tyrell Okpara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Sono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tyrell Okpara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dean Sono having to interfere. Dean Sono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyrell Okpara in the 68th minute of the match. After 71 minutes, William Melele mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Randburg and the Gaandrik players grew even worse after the yellow card. William Melele kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. FC Randburg's Freddie Sibeko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dean Bartlett in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute Tyrell Okpara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dean Sono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Freddie Sibeko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dean Bartlett in the 80th minute of play. Dean Sono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tyrell Okpara in the 84th minute of the match. Dean Bartlett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Tebogo Wanani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC Randburg's Mpenza Thokozani got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Dean Bartlett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddie Sibeko having to interfere. FC Randburg's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
