Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dikgang's Shaheed Nomvete started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd of the match, Shaheed Nomvete tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Dumisane King got in the way and made a wonderful save. Patrick Mokatimi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Papi Melele read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Poortjie's Patrick Mokatimi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Papi Melele made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Patrick Mokatimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Papi Melele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Shaheed Nomvete's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dumisane King was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. After 21 played minutes Poortjie got a freekick which was hit by Bradley Tembe. Dumisane King made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shaheed Nomvete in the 22nd minute of play. If Shaheed Nomvete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Dikgang's Bradley Thobejane got a free kick in the 26th minute. Patrick Mokatimi struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Papi Melele didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poortjie. When Lindo Thompson fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dikgang's protests and gave Lindo Thompson a yellow card for diving instead. After 34 played minutes Dikgang got a freekick which was hit by Lindo Thompson. After having played for 36 minutes, Patrick Mokatimi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poortjie's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrick Mokatimi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vuyo Bandura during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Vuyo Bandura kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. A collision led to Dikgang getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Bradley Thobejane hit a great ball. Patrick Mokatimi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Papi Melele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shaheed Nomvete in the 47th minute of play forced Poortjie's goalkeeper Dumisane King to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Poortjie were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ebrahim Nunes to make the kick off. Ebrahim Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Papi Melele having to interfere. Shaheed Nomvete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Dumisane King tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silas Laher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumisane King having to interfere. Dumisane King showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silas Laher in the 61st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Poortjie's Gordon Mufadi got a free kick in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Dikgang's goalkeeper Papi Melele had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patrick Mokatimi. Dikgang were furious when Sibongile Mncube was red carded, 70 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 70 minutes into the game, one of Dikgang:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lindo Thompson kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Papi Melele made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ebrahim Nunes in the 82nd minute of play. Poortjie's Dumisane King played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas Laher in the 91st minute of play. A collision led to Poortjie getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. David Vanker hit a great ball. Silas Laher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dumisane King having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Silas Laher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Poortjie's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
