The corner led FC Monsterlus's Mathibela Thebe to fire away a dangerous shot which Anton Arendse despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 9th match minute, FC Monsterlus was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sibongile Zwane to maneuver through the defense. Freddie Konzas short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Lindo Radebe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 13th minute, Bernard Sewele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Freddie Konza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to FC Monsterlus getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Milton Mhlathe hit a great ball. A hard shot by Legako Mbule from long distance, 19 minutes into the match, got Lindo Radebe's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 24th minute Leon Okpara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lindo Radebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thami Wanani kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, FC Monsterlus's goalkeeper Lindo Radebe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddie Konza. In the 26th minute, Freddie Konza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thami Wanani kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Freddie Konza got free with Lindo Radebe in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thabo Khumalo took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lindo Radebe. Lindo Radebe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0.

The wind increased when Leon Okpara made the kick off in the second half. If Leon Okpara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 58 minutes into the game, when Patrick Patel put in a rough tackle. In the 60th minute there was a penalty for Parow Utd. Legako Mbule stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lindo Radebe. 3-0. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Leon Okpara put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lindo Radebe. After having played for 73 minutes, Freddie Konza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parow Utd's supporters crossed their fingers, but Freddie Konza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Parow Utd's Anton Arendse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Parow Utd from getting a goal against them. In the 81stth minute of the game Leon Okpara who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Monsterlus's Lindo Radebe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Monsterlus's zone, Freddie Konza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lindo Radebe came out of the goal and Freddie Konza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Parow Utd fans' excitement grew in the 85th match minute when Parow Utd's Freddie Konza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 89th minute, Leon Okpara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 92 played minutes Parow Utd got a freekick which was hit by Nelson Zwane. Parow Utd's Anton Arendse proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Parow Utd from getting a goal against them. Parow Utd's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
