Spectators: 6843 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 0) FC Monsterlus's Tomas Kerns started the match with a crisp pass. Andre Collins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boyisana Qabi having to interfere. Themba Etafia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Lindo Radebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tomas Kerns struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Boyisana Qabi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Monsterlus. Lindo Radebe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sanjay Thabang's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sanjay Thabang in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lindo Radebe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute, William Serage had to leave the field with a concussion. When Andre Collins fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Monsterlus's protests and gave Andre Collins a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Monsterlus getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Andre Collins hit a great ball. Boyisana Qabi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andre Collins in the 35th minute. Boyisana Qabi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Kerns, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Themba Etafia was the one to do the kick off. Nuweland's Boyisana Qabi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andre Collins in the 67th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tomas Kerns's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Boyisana Qabi was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Kerns in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boyisana Qabi saved Nuweland from getting behind. Patrick Patel kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After 74 played minutes, Nuweland's Mathibela Josephs shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lindo Radebe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nuweland reached it. Sizwe Pretorius charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sizwe Pretorius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sizwe Pretorius hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Sanjay Thabang kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Tomas Kerns sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Nuweland's goal looked a bit too open when Andre Collins came free, but Boyisana Qabi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Andre Collins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
