Spectators: 6867 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1867, VIP seats: 0) Afzondering's Legako Etafia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alfred Sibeko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fuzile Tembe in the 2nd minute of play. After having played for 4 minutes, Gary Makweni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Afzondering's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gary Makweni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfred Sibeko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fuzile Tembe in the 15th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Legako Etafia in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Charles Pretorius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Takalani Mbheki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfred Sibeko made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Kingston Mathibe sent off a good shot on target. Kingston Mathibe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Alfred Sibeko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Legako Etafia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Sebensa's goalkeeper Charles Pretorius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. William Kerns received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Charles Pretorius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fuzile Tembe to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kingston Mathibe in the 52nd minute of play forced Afzondering's goalkeeper Alfred Sibeko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Legako Etafia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fuzile Tembe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kingston Mathibe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfred Sibeko having to make a save. After 69 played minutes Afzondering got a freekick which was hit by Sipho Mkhize. Tebogo Mufadi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Sibeko having to interfere. In the 79th minute Kingston Mathibe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfred Sibeko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charles Pretorius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Legako Etafia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charles Pretorius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Takalani Mbheki in the 82nd minute. Legako Etafia hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Takalani Mbheki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to FC Sebensa getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Hanile Maduna hit a great ball. Charles Pretorius was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Ismail Patel. FC Sebensa succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Afzondering had controlled the match.
