Spectators: 6872 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1872, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Legako Etafia got the match started through his kick off. William Kerns kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After having played for 7 minutes, Ricky Kolwa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Gabheni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricky Kolwa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dean Mncube's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfred Sibeko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. If Legako Etafia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Legako Etafia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Afzondering's supporters rose to their feet, but Legako Etafia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johann Fortuin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, FC Gabheni's goalkeeper Johann Fortuin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Takalani Mbheki. Johann Fortuin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Legako Etafia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, Stanton Melele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ismail Patel's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Johann Fortuin - 1-0 was put on the score board in the 28th minute. After 32 minutes, Legako Etafia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Afzondering and the FC Gabheni players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 32nd match minute, Afzondering was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Legako Etafia to maneuver through the defense. Ricky Kolwa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfred Sibeko having to interfere. Takalani Mbheki could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Johann Fortuin made a huge save. A collision led to FC Gabheni getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ricky Kolwa hit a great ball. Johann Fortuin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Legako Etafia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dean Mncube to make the kick off. Dean Mncube recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Takalani Mbheki took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johann Fortuin. Johann Fortuin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. With a little luck, Afzondering's Alfred Sibeko got control of the ball when Ricky Kolwa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricky Kolwa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Legako Etafia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th match minute, FC Gabheni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ricky Kolwa to maneuver through the defense. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Gabheni's goalkeeper Johann Fortuin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Takalani Mbheki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Johann Fortuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johann Fortuin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Legako Etafia in the 76th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, FC Gabheni's goal looked a bit too open when Legako Etafia came free, but Johann Fortuin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Afzondering fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Afzondering's Legako Etafia looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Legako Etafia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Johann Fortuin was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. A collision led to FC Gabheni getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Ricky Kolwa hit a great ball.
