Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Victory Beasts's Bradley Kanku started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Culunca's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Bradley Kanku scored to the left of an out of position Promise Klein, making the score, 1-0. Papi Mkhonza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jomo Kekana's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. In the 25th match minute, Victory Beasts was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ebrahim Mokatimi to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the game, one of Victory Beasts:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Papi Mkhonza went to the wrong direction when Albert Magagane was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 30th minute of the match Maseti Klein sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Papi Mkhonza skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Yacoob Tshabalala managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Culunca's supporters rose to their feet, but Yacoob Tshabalala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Papi Mkhonza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Promise Klein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Kanku in the 35th minute of play. When Edries Kanku came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Victory Beasts fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edries Kanku couldn't finish the play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yacoob Tshabalala to make the kick off. Promise Klein made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 67 minutes into the match, Edries Kanku had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Promise Klein. FC Culunca's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edries Kanku was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Culunca's goalkeeper Promise Klein, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Victory Beasts's Edries Kanku got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Bradley Kanku's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Promise Klein was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. If Bradley Kanku had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Bradley Kanku got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
