Spectators: 6840 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1840, VIP seats: 0) Bernard Thebe started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Kalkbank's Bernard Thebe got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Bernard Thebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Bernard Thebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrice Tshabalala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brandon Fredericks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrice Tshabalala showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Thebe, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, tk15's goalkeeper Patrice Tshabalala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brandon Fredericks. Bernard Thebe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 32ndth minute tested the skills of Patrice Tshabalala when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Brandon Fredericks received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Patrice Tshabalala tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Shoba to make the kick off. tk15's Patrice Tshabalala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Thebe in the 55th minute of play. When Jason Mufadi fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored tk15's protests and gave Jason Mufadi a yellow card for diving instead. Jason Mufadi hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by tk15's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anton Thembe was slow to take the kick. During this time Kalkbank's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Melusi Mayoyo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Patrice Tshabalala quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Brandon Fredericks took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patrice Tshabalala. Patrice Tshabalala dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 71st minute Bernard Thebe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrice Tshabalala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Patrice Tshabalala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brandon Fredericks in the 73rd minute of the match. If Bernard Thebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 76th match minute, Kalkbank was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sam Bandura to maneuver through the defense. Alex Shoba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steve Dube read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Steve Dube made an important save on a dangerous shot by Themba Shoba in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute, Bernard Thebe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kalkbank fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brandon Fredericks in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Patrice Tshabalala prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernard Thebe struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Patrice Tshabalala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kalkbank. Kalkbank were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of tk15 for a fine match.
