Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Anton Thembe hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nick Tau got free with Steve Dube in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Kalkbank booed when Maraheki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Themba Kerns didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Anton Thembe sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vuyo Qabi skillfully saved the ball. Phillip Sono received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Steve Dube tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Phillip Sono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Steve Dube stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Phillip Sono's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Maraheki getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Darren Mabele hit a great ball. In the 26th minute of the match Anton Thembe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vuyo Qabi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Maraheki's Nazeer Koen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Steve Dube but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, Maraheki's Charles Smith got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 34th minute, Brandon Fredericks got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th match minute, Maraheki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thami Klein to maneuver through the defense. Nick Tau's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Steve Dube skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Phillip Sono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steve Dube having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernard Thebe made a kick off. Bernard Thebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vuyo Qabi having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Bernard Thebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kalkbank's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernard Thebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vuyo Qabi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 63rd minute, Shumani Sibeko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Phillip Sono recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kalkbank's Steve Dube played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phillip Sono in the 78th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Nick Tau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 85 played minutes Kalkbank got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Laher. Steve Dube made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phillip Sono in the 88th minute of play. 91 minutes into the game, Anton Thembe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kalkbank's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maraheki the free kick. In the 91st minute, Anton Thembe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles Smith received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Steve Dube tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Mathibela Nhlapo fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kalkbank's protests and gave Mathibela Nhlapo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Maraheki booed when Kalkbank was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathibela Nhlapo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Maraheki were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
