Spectators: 6862 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1862, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Hans Hoffhuis started the match with the kick off. If Thami Mufadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When SV Transvaal's Hans Hoffhuis in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Ntlabeni's goalie prevented a goal. FC Ntlabeni's Michael Ntsume played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Sephiri in the 13th minute of play. Papi Strauss kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. A collision led to SV Transvaal getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Jomo Phakathi hit a great ball. Johannes Sephiri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18th minute Hans Hoffhuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Ntsume saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans Hoffhuis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Ntsume having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SV Transvaal's Jomo Phakathi got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Hans Hoffhuis came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the SV Transvaal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans Hoffhuis couldn't finish the play. Thami Mufadi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Timoteo Abel made a huge save. Timoteo Abel was a little too slow when Kingston Kubheka got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-1. Kingston Kubheka kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Michael Ntsume showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Nauseb, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 38 played minutes FC Ntlabeni got a freekick which was hit by Papi Strauss. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Hoffhuis in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Ntsume saved FC Ntlabeni from getting behind. If Jomo Phakathi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michael Ntsume stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hans Hoffhuis's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. The supporters of SV Transvaal booed when FC Ntlabeni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thami Mufadi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kingston Kubheka to make the kick off. When Nkosi Dube fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SV Transvaal's protests and gave Nkosi Dube a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st minute, one of SV Transvaal:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SV Transvaal. If Thami Mufadi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timoteo Abel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thami Mufadi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Jomo Phakathi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thami Mufadi hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hans Hoffhuis in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michael Ntsume saved FC Ntlabeni from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Hans Hoffhuis put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Michael Ntsume. Hans Hoffhuis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Michael Ntsume tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 84 in the game by Hans Hoffhuis from a close distance when the talented Michael Ntsume managed to make a qualified save. FC Ntlabeni's players were relieved. After having played for 85 minutes, Jomo Phakathi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Transvaal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jomo Phakathi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute Hans Hoffhuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michael Ntsume saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hans Hoffhuis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Michael Ntsume tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, SV Transvaal's Michael Ntsume threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nicolas Nauseb, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Hans Hoffhuis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Hoffhuis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johannes Sephiri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Michael Ntsume tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. SV Transvaal were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
